About

If you were looking for “The Cynical Physical Therapist” and came across this site, you’re in the right place. I changed the name of the blog, Twitter name, and Facebook page for a couple of reasons. The most important is that the original blog was just a place to goof off and have fun. While I still intend to do that, I plan on expanding this blog into something even bigger than that. I still am committed to doing interviews with all kinds of people in the therapy world, but I am not going to stop there. I still will be producing (hopefully!) hilarious memes that poke fun at all sorts of things in the therapy world. Lastly, I still am committed to covering controversial topics in physical/physiotherapy.

This will still be a lighthearted site in many ways, but it will also dig a little deeper at times than before. Thanks for stopping by. I’m always up for suggestions/feedback/memes and you can reach me at @TheAwesome_PT via Twitter.

  2. Hello! Just wanna say thanks for making this blog. Although you give more rants and just links to better alternatives, your posts are a wake up call to PTs everywhere to catch up with actual Physical Therapy. You’re not afraid to question what we do and why we do it.

    • Thanks for the feedback. It started last year as a healthy outlet with a couple of friends and has (hopefully!) grown into a fun place to talk about weird, goofy, and serious stuff in the PT world.

I chose satire as a main element in this blog because it’s fun for me and because sometimes it gets the point across better. And if you enjoy it, that’s just icing on the cake!

      Thanks for stopping by.
